MadVlad Episode IV

Rebirth of Empire

It's possible Vlad has ambitions in respect of re-establishing the Soviet Empire, as he adopts what can only be described as gradualism, the mantra embraced by socialist regime-change aficionados and pseudo-dictators across the globe.

What else can explain the subduction of legal constraints, to terms of office or unmarked, armed incursions in the name of securing the interests of particular interest groupings. By priming fellow travellers; in the midst of a sovereign territory, to canvass a rigged referenda.

It could have direct links to the muscle-bound bareback, stripped to the waist, horse back rough-riding. The tough guy image with pecs exposed - for worldwide speculation. This is the kind of arrogant or blinkered behaviour the free nations of Europe endured in the period 1933/45.

But to think you can get you by in the 21st Century dressing it up with shades of grey, must rank as a gross miscalculation. Maybe South Ossetia was a 'dummy-run' of sorts, to refine the tactics. But such tactics, appear to be more reminiscent of the copy one might read in the pages of former dictators.

The takeover of Crimea on the back of a barely disguised and bogus attempt to skewer public opinion, is no longer the way of the world. Bare-faced disregard for accepted norms, cannot be tolerated by the rest of the world where freedom reigns and the democratic will of the majority prevails.

The kind of carry-on in Crimea owes more to the Communist era of despots, gulags & political dictat. It's a world Vlad the Lad, with his KGB background is obviously well acquainted with. But to impose it in such an obvious way in 21st century AD, with total disregard, for accepted democratic rules, smacks of hubris that is unacceptable, by any measure of civilised behaviour.

Surely such bully-boy tactics cannot be tolerated, if the Free World is to retain any shred of self-respect. Such behaviour has to be a gross miscalculation, as the bastions of freedom and democracy, rally to ratchet up the moral pressure and pour derision on such tactical blundering.

'Fait accompli' delivered with hubris, in the face of worldwide disapprobation cannot be allowed to stand, in any part of the world. If sovereign territorial rights under international law, are to reign supreme.

MadVlad Episode III

So there you have it, variety is the spice of life

All is revealed as President Putin’s divorce is finalised. Poor old Vlad the Lad, is in the throes of a midlife crisis. Lyudmila has been expunged from the record books and removed from his website, or as Dimitry Peskov Mr Putin’s spokesman put it – edited out.

‘No man can be an island unto himself’. Nor can he be fully-functioning without the will of a good woman. So now no doubt, there’s a vacancy, a trade-off so to speak or in insurance jargon ‘New for Old’. So the world waits with baited breath for a glimpse into the life of Lyudmila’s replacement Alina.

But on a more realistic note this might go someway to explaining Vlad’s erratic behaviour of late. The flexing of his pecs, as he rides bareback on the vast rolling wasteland of the Steppes. Could it be that was to impress the rest of the world or more likely Alina? It could however help to explain the reasons, behind Mr Putin’s necessity to divert attention from the dissidents, on the domestic scene – the men who would be king.

This bareback gimmick however, turned out to be a policy decision with unforeseen consequences, for it certainly impressed ‘the Nigel’. Apart from the others he had to sideline with gagging orders and incarceration, like Mr Khordorkovsky and other political opponents who emerge from time to time, with political ambition, only to be ruthlessly suppressed.

In actuality Vlad the Lad is little different to dictators he shares his continent with. In addition, the vindictive way he uses energy resources to threaten neighbours if they dare to query his motives, is yesteryear stuff. I do not think however that this behaviour presages a return to Cold War or Iron Curtains for these instruments of control have no place in the modern world.

Since the advent of the Arab Spring and the deposing of democratically elected leaders which seems to have taken-off, alongside mass-movements to remove certain leaders of a dictatorial persuasion. A new world order is on the agenda, though at the nub of all this, lies the real evil at loose in the world, militant religious doctrine. There can be no justification whatsoever for blowing people to bits with explosives in a bid to impose radical religious-based ideas of life and living. Better to jack up the cost of living eh, to cover the ante-post bet for continuum?

In our 21st century world, surely the guiding principles should be Freedom, Choice and Opportunity, without any fear of intimidation. For there is a ground swell of popular opinion, as religious practice diminishes worldwide and brain-washing from birth, by inculcating religious principles into a babe in arms, has to be seen for what it is.

Watch this space I’ll be back! Unless I finish up jumping up and down to keep warm, on the premise North Sea gas might run out, before we get fracking on any kind of scale?

MadVlad Episode II

MARCH 22ND, 2014 11:54

You can bet yer life, there’s more to come

The takeover of Crimea was just a taster of things to come – revival of the Soviet Dream. The ‘invasion’ of Crimea was a dip your toe in the water kinda thing. Purely to test any probability the wider world might wish to intervene.

What is happening is a tried and tested Fabian Socialist practice known as Gradualism. Though the Yanks would more likely know it as ‘toe in the door’. The tactics they rely on to close a deal when their tried and tested sales tactics fail. If you ever spent time living and working in the USA, you would know all about that.
But over there, it’s more likely limited to the antics of vacuum cleaner specialists, and multi-level marketing addicts.

It might however, help to throw a bit of light on things, should you decide to spend a bit of time watching the Keiser Report on Moscow’s RTV. This Russian Rolling News Channel is effectively Comrade Putin’s propaganda tool, with his pet sidekick Max Keiser, as the organ-grinder poking fun at Uncle Sam.

But to get back to my initial point, about where this re-birth of the Soviet Union is planned to go next. It is Ukraine of course and all the good comrade needs to do, is gobble-up the bit in-between, from Crimea to his western borders. This next turkey-trot should be a shoe-in, ’Easy-peasy’, he’s tested the water and as the Ukraine authorities had no alternative but to capitulate, short of declaring outright war to protect their sovereign territory, it has worked for now.

Why does he need to do this? Well Ukraine is a vital part of the equation, for Comrade Putin’s modern day version of the Soviet Union, it is effectively the Bread-Basket of Russia. Its vast fertile plains keep the food chain supplied for a resurgent Soviet Union. So whilst he failed to control it, playing ‘Jiggery-pokey’ with energy supplies, Comrade Putin does not have a full hand for his version of Soviet inspired – stud-poker.

Oh! He’s mastered the ‘Trigger style’ deadpan of course and he now appears anxious to take up the cudgels with ‘Trigger’s broom’ for a clean sweep. But with one clear distinction, he stands liable to upset one of his biggest trading partners, our EU Konig makers.

The very people, who made a mockery of the UK’s attempt to participate in the ERM money snake. Back in the late ’80s to early ’90s. Following Chancellor Lawson’s ill-fated attempt to shadow the German currency at Dm3.00 to £1.00 sterling, when they refused to support Chancellor Lamont’s attempt to stay in the ERM.

There it rests - Hand in Hand with a Brussels/Strasbourg Elite putative ‘Meisters of the Universe’ seeking dominance, in the shape of a European Federal Superstate. The EU’s area commanders or gauleiters if you’re deutsches sprechen, are now out to promote their dominance in a modern day version of the 4th Reich. Using EU Presidents and Commissioners, as their puppets to trumpet the message.

So there you have it, a realtime exposé/appraisal of what lies behind the Comrade Putin power grab and why he needs to do it. There can be little doubt it’s to divert attention from the real purpose behind this strategy and his shaky position at home. And as for our ‘Meisters’ of the Universe’ in Berlin’s Chancellery dependent on exports for their way of life, there is everything to play for in soft pedalling on Comrade Putin.

Watch this space I’ll be back, with more riveting insights, into the world of Realpolitik.

MadVlad Episode l

  Or how the Mighty Fail

In the West we know full well what the mighty Russian Bear is capable of, so if Vlad the Lad’s posturing over the Crimean Peninsular is not to demonstrate his chutzpah, what is it about? If the Russian speaking Ukrainians don’t like the politics there, he could offer them sanctuary in Russia, he’s certainly not short of space. I’ve no idea how Russia came to have bases on the ;Crimean Peninsular. Though it probably it happened in Soviet times; for the Soviets ruled, almost as long as the Tories have ruled the UK.
We all know how Vlad likes to come-on with the macho image, as shown by his bareback riding antics and besides this he’s not without opponents inside his own domain. We know this because of recent moves to silence them, by denying contact channels to the outside world. via the internet for one.
So could it be the opportunity to adopt scare-mongering tactics with the West diverts attention from his domestic squabbles, and what attracts him to this situation. Opting to psyche out the world’s press corps with his infamous deadpan technique is one way to avoid the obvious, I guess.
Though maybe a few lessons from Trigger; the acknowledged master of deadpan, before he passed away a while back, would have prepared him better for this role. More so than he seemed able to muster on RT these days.
So there you have it, for he must know deep down that he’ll get no kudos from trying to hold people who depend on Russia for energy, to ransom. In the end it will get him nowhere, in addition to which, he’ll not to be there forever.
More than likely, his posturing is for domestic consumption. Russia is a vast country with diverse interests, and you cannot change hearts and minds in this way. You might change a few hearts and maybe a few minds, but never the twain shall meet. You can’t legislate against attitudes of mind, even if you back it up with Gulags.
In some ways Vlad the Lad is harking back to Soviet days, something he well understands from his time with the KGB. Though when it comes to diplomacy, it looks like he’s not taken too many lessons onboard, and there’s still someway to go.
So if he's the Bogeyman.Uncle Sam has lacked, since the fall of Communism –  Iran with its bid for nuclear capability and Iraq were never in the same league as the Soviets. Though whether Vlad the Lad fits the bill on this one, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. In the end, as always however – economics are the downfall, ask Monsieur Macron Le Presidente

This should Warm the Cockles of your Heart
in the fight to Rid the World of Terror

Typhoons Arriving

A Bullet newsletter special feature No. 001

The 1707 Act of Union

If the 1707 Act of Union is now past its Sell by Date and it’s time to go our separate ways. Then it must be time to do a bit of ’Getting-on’ in our own right. So if it’s ‘About Something’, it must be about an English Parliament, about Freedom, Choice & Opportunity, about Home Rule for England, about Grammar Schools, Global Trade and quitting the European Union before it implodes. We know for a fact it’s mired in corruption, fraud and mis-management and based on concepts like the Common Agricultural Policy that are no longer relevant

In effect it is little more than a feeble attempt to build a Fabian Socialist Utopia. A Federation of Regional Assemblies with all the trappings of a Police State and It almost happened under Gordon Brown’s tenure at No.10.  All it needed was identity cards, a revised Constitution and it would have been Game-over, total surrender to the Commissars.

So what of the future and an English Movement for Democratic Change, like Democracy First, that’s what politics should be about, a party of the people - for the people. A party that can organise people to work willingly in restoring the ideals that have served us well for a thousand years, from the reign of Edward I.

Responsibility of the individual, self discipline and about closing the door (if only temporarily) on migration until we restore a balance, in respect of stability for our Social Services. It’s also obvious to all that our health service requires a root and branch reform, to make it viable for the new millennium.

That which affects all should be approved by all Edward I declared, and maybe elections should be declared null and void unless 51% of the registered electorate turn out to vote in respective wards and constituencies. A matter that would go some way towards meeting majority participation, short of compelling people to vote

There is little doubt that a new political party clean as a whistle, with the benefit of the country at heart, is the only way forward. Especially, if we are to balance the books and create a debt free future, for the country and our grandchildren

Now for a sensible answer to a Thorny Problem

AUGUST 3RD, 2010 12:48

Digger on the Ropes

I preface this Blog with the actual date I publish it to highlight the fact that The Other Other Dave finally prompted by the Blindingly Obvious and his acolytes has to be got around to my way of thinking and looks like adopting a policy I have relentlessly promoted for the best part of a decade unless he is overcome by a bout of the collywobbles.

A mere 5% of viewers originally backed the Digger’s takeover of BSkyB which in essence meant a further erosion of the tele-viewing available for FREE TO AIR, so it became obvious that radical surgery and a new solution was called for.

What baffles me most of all though, is the way people cough up £30+/month subscriptions on top of the TV licensing fee to watch puerile advertising slogans. It’s bad enough having to suffer it on Freeview, as the big switchover takes off. But to have it shoved down your throat after paying another £30 or so on top of the licence fee.

So I’ve conceived a cunning plan. We bring the TV licensing fee due for the coming TV viewing year for the BBC into line for all renewals from 1st Jan 2012. Then we turn the Beeb into a pay per view channel by allowing the licence payers to use the fee, as the entree into the world of digital satellite subscription channels. This way the viewer chooses which service they wish to view. BBC + Freeview or otherwise.

It needs a strict ceiling of course on subscription channel charges, so we finish up with a level playing field and a wide variety of services to choose from. But all in all it puts the viewer in charge rather than rip-off merchants just in it for a free ride

So It makes no sense to pay a licence fee and a further subscription on top to watch Commercial Satellite Subscription channels. So it this would be an appropriate answer, to those fearful of too much TV broadcasting being concentrated in the hands of one big spending channel owner. Especially with BT coming to the party with offers it is difficult to refuse.

The BBC recording and programming studios can then be floated off as commercial, film, news, entertainment and sporting venue production companies (IPOs - If you see Syd tell him) and transmissions mostly accomplished via satellite or cable.
That's  what you might call 'Job- Done' and just remember where you read it first?

Farage Agogo

Can Mr. Farage be trusted at this seminal moment in EU Continuum?

One could easily be tagged an afficionado of sour grapes, for even suggesting this. But the real facts point to the absurdity of elevating someone with "psychopathic tendencies" to trample rough-shod over sensibilities, at such a seminal moment in the history of our Anglo-Saxon Nation State. This attempt by Mr. Farage to spearhead Brexit in harness with Britain in Business. Can do no more than diminish the fine credentials of the 'Britain in Business' leadership. Previously known to exit stage right at warp speed, with any mention of political activism.

It has often been said that we Anglo-Saxons prefer to muddle through, until we find a way to cobble together some degree of progress, in our own inimitable best interest.  Can we do it this time, when our elected P.M., is an avowed Europhile? Determinedly seeking a way to remain at the heart of this flawed experiment, for all the wrong reasons?  In consequence therefore we have to examine all the arguments for and against with searching candour, in reaching a definitive decision. A decision about to influence our future prospects, in ways no one is capable of predicting - with any degree of certainty.

The movement to open up membership of the European Union to all the basket case economies of Europe and beyond, has turned out to be a master stroke in ambiguity. Promoted by the Margaret Thatcher Government, it was actively pursued by Douglas Hurd, in his capacity as Foreign Secretary. Though whether this was a sponsored initiative, fully-backed by the Iron Lady, is open to scrutiny. When almost immediately, she faced a growing attempt to oust her by her own Europhile MPs. Like John Major who came under pressure too, from those he was wont to refer to as  the 'Bastards'. To the extent that he too was moved to declare: 'Back me or  Sack me'.

So there we have it, or do we? Did Douglas Hurd intentionally; with Maggie's consent? Attempt to throw a spanner in the works, knowing full well; that by inviting all these Basket Case Economies into the fold, knowingly create a situation entirely dependent on Social Transfers for continuum. A situation which at some future date would begin to self-implode?

It is now self-evident that such a process is playing-out, as the only solution that was ever going to work in parallel with this idea of:- a place for all? Had to be either some arrangement to prop up these Basket Case Economies with handouts, or if this didn't work out. They had to come up with a new way to print money. Something that now goes by a quaintly misleading technicality - Quantitative Easing or QE

QE is no more that a recipe for eventual self-implosion. When the day arrives that !st and 2nd class memberships have to be negotiated, to keep the dream alive or nations no longer prepared to support this situation. Go their separate ways and QE has to be unwound.

So the time is here and now, it has arrived and the decision of Anglo-Saxon England the heartland of this other great Federal State of Europe, the United Kingdom. Now faces another self-implosion. Devolution is high on the agenda, as the UK has about to run its course, in much the same way. With satellite governments in Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland dependent on handouts for lifestyle.  So decision time is upon us and it's no time to be led by those with 'psychopathic-tendencies' or hidden agendas for self-preservation. When such matters, take priority over what is best for Anglo-Saxon Plc.

Do we fight to stand or fall on our own feet, as a United Entity following our own unique Anglo-Saxon way of doing business? Making our own laws and trading the world in the manner of our Victorian forefathers? Those who built the Greatest Empire the world has ever known. Or do we spend another generation in penury, awaiting the inevitable disintegration of this flawed EU experiment and devolution of our own Federal United Kingdom Nation State when dead beats in Scotland, think it's better for them to be an EU basket case?

This is a situation now facing Anglo-Saxon England on all fronts, as we muddle through in our own unique and time-honoured fashion. Exposed to the harsh light of day with a disaster in the making, as another 'Highland Charge' heads our way. From a part of the UK Nation State trying to punch above its weight, led by a 'Bunch of Plonkers' dubbed the SNP.

I can do and say  (nay more) to help a bit of common Anglo-Saxon sense prevail; than re-iterate the words of probably our greatest general of all time. The one and only Arthur Wellesley better known as the Iron Duke, the Duke of Wellington who explained:

"They came at us in the same old way and
we beat them off in the same old way."

Yours truly
Dave Black.
