So there you have it, variety is the spice of life

All is revealed as President Putin’s divorce is finalised. Poor old Vlad the Lad, is in the throes of a midlife crisis. Lyudmila has been expunged from the record books and removed from his website, or as Dimitry Peskov Mr Putin’s spokesman put it – edited out.

  ‘No man can be an island unto himself’. Nor can he be fully-functioning without the will of a good woman. So now no doubt, there’s a vacancy, a trade-off so to speak or in insurance jargon ‘New for Old’. So the world waits with baited breath for a glimpse into the life of Lyudmila’s replacement Alina.

But on a more realistic note this might go someway to explaining Vlad’s erratic behaviour of late. The flexing of his pecs, as he rides bareback on the vast rolling wasteland of the Steppes. Could it be that was to impress the rest of the world or more likely Alina? It could however help to explain the reasons, behind Mr Putin’s necessity to divert attention from the dissidents, on the domestic scene – the men who would be king.

This bareback gimmick however, turned out to be a policy decision with unforeseen consequences, for it certainly impressed ‘the Nigel’. Apart from the others he had to sideline with gagging orders and incarceration, like Mr Khordorkovsky and other political opponents who emerge from time to time, with political ambition, only to be ruthlessly suppressed.

In actuality Vlad the Lad is little different to dictators he shares his continent with. In addition, the vindictive way he uses energy resources to threaten neighbours if they dare to query his motives, is yesteryear stuff. I do not think however that this behaviour presages a return to Cold War or Iron Curtains for these instruments of control have no place in the modern world.

Since the advent of the Arab Spring and the deposing of democratically elected leaders which seems to have taken-off, alongside mass-movements to remove certain leaders of a dictatorial persuasion. A new world order is on the agenda, though at the nub of all this, lies the real evil at loose in the world, militant religious doctrine. There can be no justification whatsoever for blowing people to bits with explosives in a bid to impose radical religious-based ideas of life and living. Better to jack up the cost of living eh, to cover the ante-post bet for continuum?

In our 21st century world, surely the guiding principles should be Freedom, Choice and Opportunity, without any fear of intimidation. For there is a ground swell of popular opinion, as religious practice diminishes worldwide and brain-washing from birth, by inculcating religious principles into a babe in arms, has to be seen for what it is.

Watch this space I’ll be back! Unless I finish up jumping up and down to keep warm, on the premise North Sea gas might run out, before we get fracking on any kind of scale?

You can bet yer life, there’s more to come

The takeover of Crimea was just a taster of things to come – revival of the Soviet Dream. The ‘invasion’ of Crimea was a dip your toe in the water kinda thing. Purely to test any probability the wider world might wish to intervene.

What is happening is a tried and tested Fabian Socialist practice known as Gradualism. Though the Yanks would more likely know it as ‘toe in the door’. The tactics they rely on to close a deal when their tried and tested sales tactics fail. If you ever spent time living and working in the USA, you would know all about that.

But over there, it’s more likely limited to the antics of vacuum cleaner specialists, and multi-level marketing addicts.

It might however, help to throw a bit of light on things, should you decide to spend a bit of time watching the Keiser Report on Moscow’s RTV. This Russian Rolling News Channel is effectively Comrade Putin’s propaganda tool, with his pet sidekick Max Keiser, as the organ-grinder poking fun at Uncle Sam.

But to get back to my initial point, about where this re-birth of the Soviet Union is planned to go next. It is Ukraine of course and all the good comrade needs to do, is gobble-up the bit in-between, from Crimea to his western borders. This next turkey-trot should be a shoe-in, ’Easy-peasy’, he’s tested the water and as the Ukraine authorities had no alternative but to capitulate, short of declaring outright war to protect their sovereign territory, it has worked for now.

Why does he need to do this? Well Ukraine is a vital part of the equation, for Comrade Putin’s modern day version of the Soviet Union, it is effectively the Bread-Basket of Russia. Its vast fertile plains keep the food chain supplied for a resurgent Soviet Union. So whilst he failed to control it, playing ‘Jiggery-pokey’ with energy supplies, Comrade Putin does not have a full hand for his version of Soviet inspired – stud-poker.

Oh! He’s mastered the ‘Trigger style’ deadpan of course and he now appears anxious to take up the cudgels with ‘Trigger’s broom’ for a clean sweep. But with one clear distinction, he stands liable to upset one of his biggest trading partners, our EU Konig makers.

The very people, who made a mockery of the UK’s attempt to participate in the ERM money snake. Back in the late ’80s to early ’90s. Following Chancellor Lawson’s ill-fated attempt to shadow the German currency at Dm3.00 to £1.00 sterling, when they refused to support Chancellor Lamont’s attempt to stay in the ERM.

There it rests - Hand in Hand with a Brussels/Strasbourg Elite putative ‘Meisters of the Universe’ seeking dominance, in the shape of a European Federal Superstate. The EU’s area commanders or gauleiters if you’re deutsches sprechen, are now out to promote their dominance in a modern day version of the 4th Reich. Using EU Presidents and Commissioners, as their puppets to trumpet the message.

So there you have it, a realtime exposé/appraisal of what lies behind the Comrade Putin power grab and why he needs to do it. There can be little doubt it’s to divert attention from the real purpose behind this strategy and his shaky position at home. And as for our ‘Meisters’ of the Universe’ in Berlin’s Chancellery dependent on exports for their way of life, there is everything to play for in soft pedalling on Comrade Putin.
